A massive well done and thank you to all the swimmers, who participated in the Sponsored Swim on Saturday afternoon. It was a great day and a fantastic achievement by everyone.
Thank you also to the parents who helped on the poolside counting the lengths, without you events like this just couldn’t happen. Finally not forgetting a special mention for Dave Swift who was our announcer on the day and kept everyone motivated and having fun.
The final totals were as follows:
The teams swum a total of 2356 lengths or a massive 58,900m which equates to over 36 miles. So well over the 34 miles needed to swim to get from Liverpool to Manchester.

Please can I remind everyone to collect their sponsor money and hand it to Pat, Michelle, Alison or Janine before Monday 10th August. Once we have a total figure we will announce the individual swimmer who has raised the most money and won a great prize.
