Hope everyone has had an awesome break and is ready to burn off all those mince pies. The first session of the new year is Wednesday 4th January, at the Wigan Life Centre. With the Swim Development Gala and the Bolton and Manchester Age Groups on the Horizon, it’s time to get those last few sessions in before we kick off another year of competitive success.
Watch out for Chris Suggitt this year competing in the British Championships in March, which are being used as the Olympic trials, in the new Olympic Pool, good luck to Chris we wish him all the best.
After the success of last year’s swim camp at Rossall , we will be there again this year, but this time for five days, as we just can’t squash all the exciting new things into two days. It will hopefully take place in the latter half of the school summer holidays, look out for more info coming soon.
Some of the older swimmers and coaches will off into the great outdoors and swimming in the Great Swim Series, so best of luck to them.
