Hopefully everyone would have seen that our Club Championships will be taking place on Sunday 3rd July 2022 at the Wigan Life Centre.
This will be the first time since 2019 that we have been able to run this gala due to the pandemic and we are really hoping to get as many of our club swimmers old and young to take part in the racing.

We as a Committee are aiming to make this Club Championships the best yet with all our swimmers walking away having had a competitive but extremely fun day.
We have already organised a photographer to be on poolside at the Club Championships to catch some great action shots of the swimmers.
We have a great raffle lined up as well as surprises for the swimmers and for the first time we have also booked Party Haus (which is located on King Street) out for the Club once the racing has finished were we have organised food and the bar will be open to buy drinks.
On the day there are going to be plenty prizes for our swimmers to try and win.
Each swimmer who takes part will receive a medal as well as this anyone finishing in the top 3 of their age group in each event will win additional medals. Also the swimmers will have chance to break the Club Records which I have attached below for you all to have a look at.
No medals will be handed out on the day instead these will be presented at the Club BBQ and presentation day/evening which will take place at Wigan Cricket Club on Sunday 21st August. More information will be posted about this very soon but we already have a live band lined up on what promises to be a fantastic day.
The closing date to get your entries in for the Club Championships is Wednesday 29th June 2022. Please get your entries in now to avoid any disappointment!!!!
We are asking that spectators pay £3 entry on the day. This will include entry to watch the racing, access to the photo’s taken on the day and free entry into the raffle draw!
We have already had a brilliant response to this gala and we are already close to having our largest number of swimmers attend a Club Championships in a long time.
It’s going to be a brilliant day so please make sure you don’t miss out!
