On Sunday 18th January 2026 we have our next set of club time trials. These take the place of regular training and cost nothing to take part in.
These are very important as they are used to monitor how our swimmers are progressing. The coaches use these to see if any swimmers are ready to move groups within the club and they are also used to give the coaches an idea of which swimmers to ask to compete in the upcoming team gala season.
We also encourage as many swimmers as possible to take part so they gain more experience in a gala setting and as a committee we use the day to give you updates on plans for the coming year.
***When entering all of the details on our entry system please make sure times are entered for the events swimmers will be taking part in. If a swimmer doesn’t have a time please ask one of the coaches who will be able to direct you. This will help with getting the heats(races) correct on the day.***
!!!!!If this is the first time a swimmer is taking part in a Time Trials or gala and you would like them to be in one of the first heats please enter a time of 00:00.00!!!!!

We ask that ONLY swimmers who will be 9 or under on Sunday 29th November 2026 race in all 4 of the 25m events plus the 100 IM. These swimmers can race in some of the 50m events but PLEASE CHECK WITH A COACH FIRST!!!!!
All other swimmers should take part in all 4 50m events as well as the 100IM. This is very important and not doing this could have a bearing on group movements.
