On Sunday 4th January 2026 the Wigan Development Meet returns to the Wigan Life Centre.
The Development Meet will take place on the afternoon of Sunday 4th January 2026. This gala is NOT a licensed gala and times will not go on the National rankings.
However it is an ideal gala for any of our swimmers who:
1. Have never competed in a gala before.
2. Have competed at level 3 or level 4 galas.
3. Have NOT achieved a County or Regional consideration time in the last 12 months or for the upcoming 2026 season.
This meet (gala) is open to swimmers who will be aged between 8-11 on the 4th January 2026.
SWIMMERS ENTERED INTO THE WIGAN DEVELOPMENT MEET MUST NOT HAVE ACHIEVED ANY COUNTY, REGIONAL OR NATIONAL CONSIDERATION TIMES IN THE PAST OR FOR UPCOMING EVENTS AND MUST BE PART OF A WIGAN BOROUGH COMMUNITY SWIMMING CLUB.

Each event will cost £3 to enter!
WHEN ENTERING INTO AN EVENT PLEASE MAKE SURE A ENTRY TIME IS SUBMITTED. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A TIME PLEASE ASK ONE OF THE COACHES WHO WILL BE ABLE TO HELP.
Entries are now OPEN for this gala and will close at 10pm on Friday 19th December 2025.
No entries will be accepted after this time!!!!
