Both the Wigan Distance Meet and Wigan Development Meet take place on Sunday 5th January 2025 at the Wigan Life Centre.
The Distance Meet will take place in the morning with the Development Meet following on in the early afternoon.
This means no normal training will take place on this day!
If swimmers are not competing at Burnley it is suggested but not compulsory that all swimmers take part in one of the galas.
The Distance Meet in the morning is aimed at swimmers who already have County times as well as for swimmers who would like to have a try at longer distance events or for swimmers who may not be able to enter the Development Meet because they are 12 and over. The Development Meet is for swimmers who are between the ages of 8-11 on Sunday 5th January 2025. These swimmers must not have any County consideration times.
