I hope you and your families are all keeping well and staying safe.
I’m sure you have all seen the fun videos that children are making passing toilet rolls, bags and balls virtually to each other. We would love to make our very own Wigan Swimming Club version passing a pull bouy around from swimmer to swimmer.
I’m hoping we can get as many swimmers involved in this as possible and make it a really fun event. I know it’s not the same as being together, but it will be a lasting reminder of this tough time we are all going through once we are back in the pool.
All you need to do is make a short clip with the swimmer wearing their club T-shirt and cap (if you have one), throwing a pull bouy to the swimmer in from the left side of the video and then throwing it out to the right. If you want to add your own personal touch to this like a kick of the pull bouy or a jump please feel free, the more creative the better.
Once you have made your clip please could you email it by Saturday 25th April to our very own movie producer Rick Atkinson who will put them all together.
