This weekend we welcome back Open gala racing action at the Wigan Life Centre as the Wigan and Tyldesley Starter Meet takes place.
Below you will find the warmup times attached for the weekend. PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF ALL TIMES as you will see the start times in the morning are slightly later than what was stated on the accepted entries list.
As you will see on the first set of warmups in each session we have moved the 9 and 10 years age bracket to the last warmup, before we start the warmups for the other gender. This is because these swimmers will not be taking part in the first event due to age restrictions and we want to try and minimise the waiting time the best we can.
Also the 9 and 10 years warmups will be quieter than the other warmups but we have done this to make sure the younger swimmers don’t get swam over and bashed about as we are aware for many this will be there first experience of an Open gala.
As always at our galas we will have a photographer poolside all weekend and parents/guardians will be able to purchase photos.
I have attached a form that parents/guardians can fill in if they believe that they will be interested in purchasing some action shots.
There will be a stall set up in the North Gallery which all parents will pass through. If you could take your form to the Key Photography desk and the photographers will do the rest. The same is to be said for anyone who does not want any photos to be taken of their children. Please go to the photography stall and let them know.
