The SnowPen Meet makes a welcome return this December and we will be attending as a club! The gala will take place on Saturday 16th December and Sunday 17th December at the Manchester Aquatics Centre!
Due to being so close to Christmas it is always a great festive atmosphere and lots of fun for all the swimmers.
To take part in this gala a swimmer has to be 9 years old or over at Midnight on the 17th December 2023. Whatever age the swimmer is at Midnight on the 17th December 2023 is the age they will race as. The age groups for this gala are 10 and Under/11/12/13/14/15 and 16 and Over.
Please note for this gala swimmers who are 10 and under can not enter the 200m butterfly, 400m Freestyle or the 400m IM, however 10 and unders can enter all other events.
Below you will find attachments including the programme for this gala and the consideration times. Please read all of these VERY CAREFULLY.
When entering this gala please make sure to enter a time for each event. If the swimmer does not have an official time you can use time trial times or ask one of the coaches at training for a time. Please beware if this gala is over subscribed swimmers with estimated times or unofficial times will likely be rejected first.
Also when looking at the consideration times please beware that swimmers MUST BE NOT HAVE SWAM FASTER THAN THE STATED TIME FOR THAT EVENT!
Entries for this gala are now open and will close at Midday on Monday 30th October 2023. The reason for this is that the gala organiser has made it a first come first served gala and by having the entries complete I will be able to send them across as soon as possible.
