*Important Timetable Changes*
Please see some timetable changes (CLICK HERE) to coincide with the new head coach arrival and all changes will be in effect from start date on the 4th August 2025 (following Rossall Swim Camp)
The timetable change was a committee decision and based on how Wigan BEST changed the development pathway into squad and we have had to implement these changes in order to protect the club membership and finances but most importantly to provide our swimmers with the best platform and pool time compared to other community clubs when working towards squad and bigger swimming ambitions.
We believe that Wigan Swimming Club and our coaching team will prepare our junior and senior swimmers with squad ambitions to reach their goal, but as a committee we have huge ambitions to support our own club on our operational and growth pathway by creating the best sporting environment for those enjoying their swimming journey and competition with club but have no targets of moving to squad. This will also enable us to welcome ex Wigan BEST squad swimmers back into the club as well as growing the masters section.
Please note, with the timetable change, the membership options will be available as follows and please email membership to discuss any changes.
All swimmers have the option of a full time membership.
Full time Wigan BEST swimmers in AGD, AGP or National have the option for a full time membership, 1 swim membership or affiliation membership.
Swimmers in Wigan BEST junior potential ONLY have the option of a two swim membership @ £35.00 per month or club affiliation only. The 1 swim membership is not going to be available to this group of swimmers.

You will notice that all groups retained the same pool time (minimum), however we managed to increase our senior development squad by 30 minutes so they also get 3h30 per week with the timetable changes to bring them online with Junior Development Junior Performance and Senior Performance.
