The Percy Mason Memorial Gala is back for 2022. This year it will take place on Friday 25th, Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th November 2022 at the Orford Jubilee Neighbourhood Hub in Warrington.
To take part in this gala a swimmer has to be 9 years old or over at midnight on the 25th November 2022. Whatever age the swimmer is at midnight on the 25th November 2022 is the age they will race as. The age groups for this gala are 9/10/11/12/13/14 and 15/over.
Please note for this gala swimmers must be 10 and over to enter the 200m Fly, 11 and over to enter the 400 IM, and you also need to be 12 and over to enter either the 800m or 1500m freestyle. All other events are available to 9 years and above.
Below you will find attachments including the terms and conditions, the programme for this gala and the consideration times. Please read all of these VERY CAREFULLY.
When entering this gala please make sure to enter a time for each event. If the swimmer does not have an official time you can use time trial times or ask one of the coaches at training for a time. Please beware if this gala is over subscribed swimmers with estimated times or unofficial times will likely be rejected first.
Also when looking at the consideration times please beware that swimmers MUST NOT HAVE EQUALLED OR SWAM FASTER THAN THE UPPER TIME LIMIT to enter that race.
Entries for this gala are now open and will close at 10pm on Friday 23rd September 2022. The reason for this is that the gala organiser has made it a first come first served gala, entries are now already open and it is always very popular.
Entries are now CLOSED for this gala.
Each race will cost £7 apart from the 800m and 1500m freestyle which cost £15 per event.
