The next time trial is on Sunday 13th January 2019, all swimmers are asked to submit an online entry form.
Swimmers are reminded that the time trials takes place instead of normal training and are encourage to attend. If you are new to the swimming club, this is your first chance to see the rest of the swimmers within the club and get times for all 4 of the strokes. 2019 will see ALL swimmers taking part in the time trials. Swimmers from the Link Group are very welcome to enter.
The time trials will run from 1:00pm till 4:00pm.
Swimmers must be at the Wigan Life Centre Pool by 12:45pm for a prompt 1:00pm start. Entries must be completed online by midnight of Wednesday 9th January 2019. We are unable to complete entry forms on the day of the time trial. If you complete a form but are unable to attend please let us know. Times must be including on your form, otherwise no time will show and you will be put in a slower heat.
If you do not have a time for an event, please enter your time as “YES”, please beware this will seed the swimmer in the first heat. It is in the swimmers best interest to submit a time so they can be entered in the correct heat, these times WILL NOT be checked. Please double check your submission before pressing submit.
If your entry form is not submitted you cannot take part in the time trials.
The reason for this is to ensure that all clerical work can be completed prior to the date of the time trial. Previously we have tried to deal with swimmers on the day, however, due to late arrivals we have had to re-schedule & re-print the heats which is both time consuming and expensive. As pool time is limited your compliance with our requests will ensure we maximize pool time.
