The BCM gala takes place at the Wigan Life Centre on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th March 2024.
Below I have attached the accepted entries for the upcoming BCM Spring meet which includes the approximate timings for the sessions on page 2.

Please advise of any errors in the entries by email ASAP. Please note that changes to entries after the closing date have been noted but are not reflected in these documents – they will appear in the start lists on the day.

The following information has been provided by the organisers of the BCM gala!!!

“We are publishing the program electronically to limit use of paper. We will have a QR code to link to the programme which will be on the wall at the centre & will allow the programme to be viewed on spectator’s & swimmer’s phones/devices.

Please could you pass on the below information to parents:
– Please email any withdrawals to bcmchampionshipsecretary@gmail.com as per the info at the top of the accepted entries doc.
– There is a charge for spectators into each session. The charge is £5.00 for each day with a refund of £2.00 if only one session is attended, concessions are available (Children £2.50).
– Due to restrictions on numbers, the numbers of spectators may be limited on the day due to the capacity of the balcony.
– There are to be no camping chairs brought into the centre at any time.
– The small pool will be available for warm up and swim down before and during sessions, only while used appropriately.
– Morning warm ups will commence from 8.30am, and afternoon warm ups from 1.15pm. Warm up schedule will be sent out soon.

We are short of officials for the competition, especially on Saturday – at current numbers we would have to run the Saturday sessions in 6 lanes rather than the 8 available, and this would certainly impact the meet.
