This years Club Championships are to be held on Sunday 28th October 2018 at the Wigan Life Centre. All club members are invited to compete, with all swimmers competing in the Club Championships receiving a medal.
This year there will be new events added to the Club Championships, so please be mindful when entering your children. Although I encourage children to take part in as many events as possible in galas which are spread over two days or consecutive weekends, please ensure you look at the order of events this time so your children have adequate rest between each race.
Please may I ask that you do not enter your children into every event, even if they’re eligible.
All the awards and medals will be presented at the Club Presentation Evening on Friday 9th November 2018. More information about the Presentation Evening will be released nearer the time.
The Club Championships will be held under Swim England Law and Fina Technical Rules, disqualifications will be executed.

Event 101 – 50m Backstroke
Event 102 – 200m I.M.
Event 103 – 100m Freestyle
Event 104 – 50m Breaststroke
Event 105 – 200m Backstroke
SKINS Event – Female
Event 106 – 100m Butterfly
SKINS Event – Male
Event 107 – 50m Freestyle
Event 108 – 100m Backstroke
Event 109 – 200m Freestyle
Event 110 – 50m Butterfly
Event 111 – 100m Breaststroke
Event 112 – 100m I.M.
Event Conditions
50m races – All age groups.
100m races – Swimmers 9 years and over.
200m races – Swimmers 10 years and over.
SKINS event – Swimmers 12 years and over.
A split warm up will start at 12:30pm for a 1:00pm start, finish time is dependent on the amount of entries that are received.
Entries must be completed online by Wednesday 24th October, no late entries will be accepted.
Events cost £4.00 each and £5.00 for the SKINS events.
There are various ways to get your entry money in – bank transfer (please states the swimmer’s name and ‘Club Champs’), cheque or cash.
If you’re paying via cheque or cash, please hand them either Elizabeth, Rachael Lee, Lee or Leigh Cutter, Barry Mussell or Wendy Unsworth.
