As a reminder this Sunday 14th January 2024 will be when our next set of club time trials take place. These take the place of regular training and cost nothing to take part in.
These are very important as they are used to monitor how our swimmers are progressing. The coaches use these to see if any swimmers are ready to move groups within the club and they are also used to give the coaches an idea of which swimmers to ask to compete in the upcoming team gala season.
We also encourage as many swimmers as possible to take part so they gain more experience in a gala setting and as a committee we use the day to give you updates on plans for the coming year.
If you have already entered into this event that is fantastic and nothing more needs to be done!
However if you are still trying to enter this weekends time trials please email meets@wiganswimmingclub.org.uk with the swimmer’s name and times for all four 50m races plus one of either the 100IM or 200IM but not both.
If this is the first time your swimmer will be competing in time trials or a gala then just let me know that no times are available.
We hope to see as many of you there as possible.

We then ask that you pick between the 100IM or 200IM. PLEASE DO NOT ENTER BOTH EVENTS!
