On Sunday 17th September 2023 we have our next set of club time trials. These take the place of regular training and cost nothing to take part in.
These are very important as they are used to monitor how our swimmers are progressing. The coaches use these to see if any swimmers are ready to move groups within the club and they are also used to give the coaches an idea of which swimmers to ask to compete in the team galas and they will help to prepare our swimmers for the new racing season after the summer break from galas.
These Time Trials will also be the first set of Time Trials for our new Head coach Andy to have a look at all of our swimmers so lets make sure we have a great turn out!!!
We also encourage as many swimmers as possible to take part so they gain more experience in a gala setting and as a committee we use the day to give you updates on plans for the coming year.
When entering all of the details on our entry system please make sure times are entered for the events swimmers will be taking part in. If a swimmer doesn’t have a time please ask one of the coaches who will be able to direct you. This will help with getting the heats(races) correct on the day!
We hope to see as many of you there as possible.
It is very important that all swimmers take part in all four 50m races!!!!
We then ask that you pick between the 100IM or 200IM. PLEASE DO NOT ENTER BOTH EVENTS!
