Chris during the 400IM at the British Championships
Congratulations to Chris Suggitt who has been selected to represent Great Britain in the LEN European Cup in Turkey on the 28th July. Chris will be competing in the 5km open water event in the Mamara Sea at Kocaelion. We look forward to hearing how one of our longest serving members of this club performs in his biggest challenge to date. This selection follows a number of outstanding performances at the British Gas Swimming Championships in June where he produced personal best times in both 400 and 800 metres freestyle of 3:58 and 8:10 respectively.
Chris is currently training down in Swansea with other members of the Great Britain team whilst studying at university. Swansea Performance is one of British Swimming’s Intensive Training Centres (ITC) and has assisted Chris in continuing the success he started whilst at Wigan. We all wish him the best of luck out in Turkey.
