In the next few months our committee and club are going to be losing some of our volunteers due to work commitments and other reasons!
One role that is needing to be taken on is operating the timing system when we run time trials, club champs, and galas.
The role doe not need the person doing it to be a committee member!
Again the role will take a little getting used to but training will be provided and like any new skill or job role you learn it soon becomes easy enough to complete.
We really do need someone to take this role on who may not be involved at the club at the moment as we are already stretched with he number of helpers we have.
By taking this role on you will be able to sit down on poolside and see all what goes on throughout galas and other events all whilst having a laugh with all the rest of the volunteers.
Again we can’t stress enough how important it is that we start to get new volunteers at the club due to a number of our current volunteers getting ready to let’s say retire.
Without this job role being filled we will not be able to run future time trials, galas and club champs.
