Hi all,
Firstly a massive well done to everyone who took part at the Club Championship last weekend. Speaking to the coaches and committee members who attended it sounds like there was a lot of fantastic swims throughout the competition.
Thank you to all of the volunteers who gave up their time to make sure we can run events like this.
Every year at Club Championships the swimmers have the opportunity to break the Championship records or create new one’s if one has not previously been set.
The original records date back to 2010. This year we say congratulations to Noah G who broke one of the records that had been held since 2010.
That leaves 7 standing!!!!
In total this years Club Championship saw 6 brand new records created as well as 14 existing records broke. This is an improvement on last year which is great to see and we would like to say congratulations to the following swimmers who created or broke a record:
- Teresa-Lynn Pallas 2 brand new records and 1 broken record
- Matilda Bristow 1 broken record
- Michael Jones 1 brand new record 1 broken record
- Rowan Tosh 3 broken records
- Noah Grace 3 broken records including an original record from 2010
- KC Grimshaw 2 brand new records and 1 broken record
- Olivia Knox 2 broken records
- Rose Nickson 2 broken records
- Grace Waller 1 brand new record
These achievements along with the medals from Club Champs will be presented at the club presentation evening. More info on this to follow!!!!
