Firstly Wigan SC would like to thank you for deciding to join us and support our Inaugural Wigan Summer Sizzler Meet.
The interest and entry numbers have been far more than we could have imagined so once again thank you!
We are pleased to let you know that all entries have been accepted with no rejections needed although this will make both sessions busy especially the morning session.
Below you will find the list of accepted entries please take the time to have a read through this and if you find any mistakes please let me know no later than Wednesday 24th April.
At this moment in time we are aiming to get the morning session underway at 9am but we are waiting on final confirmation on a couple of things from the pool.
Due to this at the moment warmup times are TBC in all instances and we will publish warmup and start times as soon as possible.
As previously mentioned we will have a poolside photographer at the gala.
This was very common and popular before the pandemic and we are glad to be able to bring this feature to the gala.
If any parents wish for their child NOT to have photos taken of them we will be releasing a info pack shortly about the gala in there they will find a non consent form that they will be able to complete before the gala and in which case the photographer will be informed.
At this point we would also like to point out that a swimmer attending the gala has a nut allergy and we ask that no swimmers, coaches, or team managers bring anything made with peanuts on to poolside. Thank you!
We are currently still looking for officials for both sessions at the gala!!!!!
As always we will cover travel costs (45p per mile), car parking (if needed), and light buffet will be available!
Officials will also receive a little bottle of something as an extra thank you from the club!
As you are all aware it’s so hard to find officials at the minute so any help will be greatly appreciated.
