A big congratulations to the National Arena League Team, who for the finial round trekked all the way to Kendal on a very wet and windy December evening. Despite missing a few members the team pulled out its usually array heated competition and a score so close the positions changed after every race. We finished 11th out of 18 overall in division one, which is an awesome achievement. http://www.nationalswimmingleague.org.uk/north-west/1873-north-west-league-positions-after-round-3-2013

Harley BeentjesA big thank to our team captains Holly and Kaveh, who lead from the front not only in the water, but on the poolside too. We had some of the best team spirit I have ever seen, heard, experienced and all swimmers really pulled together. It seams all the excitement was too much for a few of us:).—>>

This year we faced some of the toughest coopetition ever, with Dom Suggitt raising the moral and bring the whole team together, not to mention his amazing swims., it good to see him coming back to his grass roots year up on year. #wearewigan

I hope everyone who competed in the league this year enjoyed it as much as I did, when people ask me what is I get out of swimming this is right up there, thank you.

A very proud Rick
