The Manchester SnowPen Meet will take place at the Manchester Aquatics Centre on the weekend of Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th December 2026.
This gala is set up in the 50m pool.
This gala is a good opportunity for our younger swimmers to race in an Olympic size pool, whilst it allows our older swimmers the opportunity to get some long course race practice, and of course offers another opportunity to achieve consideration times for the County Championships.
The Meet will feature all 50m events, all 100m events (No 100m IM due to it being a 50m pool), all 200m events and both 400m events.
Swimmers who are 10 or under as of 23.59 on Sunday 20th December 2026 WILL NOT be able to enter the 400m IM, 400 free, or 200m butterfly at this gala.
As mentioned above a swimmers age for this gala will be the age they are at 23.59 on Sunday 20th December 2026.
When entering a swimmer into an event please use a licenced time where possible. If a swimmer has no time please ask your coach for an estimated time. DO NOT enter an event with no time as this will be rejected by Manchester.
All 50m, 100m, and 200m freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and IM events will cost £9 to enter.
The 200m fly, 400m free and 400m IM will cost £12 to enter.
Below you will find the terms and conditions, programme of events and upper time limits (swimmer cant be faster than stated time) for the gala as well as two links to the online entry systems to be used by Wigan SC swimmers only.
Our entry systems for Wigan SC swimmers are now OPEN and will CLOSE at Midnight on Saturday 31st October 2026!!!!!!
NO entries will be accepted after the time and date above.
